NEWS: Breaking: Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike Sacks All Commissioners

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has terminated the appointment of all commissioners in the state.

Simeon Nwakaudu, governor’s spokesperson, in a statement issued Saturday the directed the commissioners to hand over to the permanent secretaries in their respective ministries.

The reason why Governor Wike sacked the commissioners was not disclosed.

It came less than 24 hours after the Commissioner for Information, Austin Tam-George, resigned from the cabinet.

Governor Wike had earlier sacked his Commissioner for Works, Bathuel Harrison, few days.
