President Buhari's son Yusuf is reportedly in coma after suffering a head injury and multiple fractures, following a power bike crash in Abuja. According to reports, the crash occured last night Tuesday 26th of December while he was reportedly racing with a friend in the capital city. He veered off the road and crashed as he tried to overtake his friend's car.



He was rushed to a hospital where he is currently being treated. There are reports that he may be flown abroad for treatment.

Boko Haram ex-Chief Intelligence Officer (CIO) Abdulkadir Abubakar, has warned the leader of the violent  sect, Abubakar Shekau, to stop using innocent girls who are being hypnotized as human bombs.

Abubakar, otherwise known as Abu Muhammad, also warned other factional leaders of the group including Mamman Nur, Abu Musad Albarnawi and Abbor Minok to repent from their deadly ways and embrace peace.

Abubakar was the CIO of the terror group and one of its top commanders, until his arrest in June by the military in Buni Yadi in Gujba Local Government Area of Yobe State.

The ex-commander who spoke to PRNigeria in his cell in Maiduguri, regretted that a lot of innocent young girls were captured, tortured, hypnotised and used by Abubakar Shekau for suicide bombing.

“I am calling on Abubakar Shekau, Mamman Nur, Abbor Minok and Abu Musad Albarnawi to lay down thier arms and to stop the senseless killings”, he said.

“Shekau has continued to demonstrate his cruelty and atrocities against humanity. He had killed a lot of souls, destroyed homes and rendered people homeless. He continued to exercise God’s authority to himself by killing innocent souls at will without any justification.

“This was the why all his commanders left him. He doesn’t have pity for the aged, women, children as well as young girls, who are mostly suffering and dying in his camp.



“His followers are raping and committing all sort of atrocities under his nose while he continued to show no concern. Many who dared to question his dastardly acts, were promptly eliminated on his orders.

“Some of his commanders like Aliyu and our Chief Mechanic known as “Paper” were killed for begging Shekau to provide food to mothers and their children at the time our camp in Abiso ran out of food.

“When Shekau was told to help them, he said he did not come to Sambisa to feed the Children of “Handak” he said if 100,000 of them die everyday, that’s none of his business.

“At some point women became beggars to feed thier children in Sambisa, while at least 13 children died of malnutrition and other hardship meted on them by Shekau.

“This is the reason why Mamman Nur, Albarnawi, Man Chari, Abbor Minok and Abba Albarnawi including myself deserted him and form our own factional groups. Mamman Nur moved to the shores of Chad while Albarnawi and Abbah (last born of Muhammad Yusuf) remained at the shores of Magumeri.

“All of us as at then were all hunting to kill Shekau just like the Nigerian military because of the attrocities he committed under our name. We had fought nine times with him and killed many of his men.

“Shekau must know that all those women he is sending with Improvised Explosive Device(IEDs), in places of worships, market and schools are our sisters and mothers and they don’t deserve to die.

“He must know that one day he would be called and to account for all the atrocities he has committed in the name of Islam. There is no compulsion in religion. Indeed God has really allowed the truth to prevail over falsehood.

“There is no verse of the Holy Qur’an that permitted Muslims to kill anybody. God will punish even those who feel happy while we are killed not to talk of killing innocent souls. So you cannot kill anyone who doesn’t believe in your faith or practice.

“Arrogantly, Shekau declared a whole country and people living it as infidels and ordered that everyone living in that city and not Sambisa must be killed. Islam can never be synonymous to senseless killings.

“Shekau should remember that he was nobody but ordinary student. He should remember that he had only two sets of cloths when we were in Maiduguri. I remember ever telling him that, ‘Brother Shekau, why can’t you buy more cloths to wear? He once told me that he was afraid of meeting God in the day of judgement.

“He should look at himself and ask if he has achieved from the senseless course. Despite all the looted wealth and power he had acquired, was he able to buy himself good health? He is now a cripple. Isn’t that a lesson for him to learn and understand that God is punishing you for the pain you inflicted on others?”

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has said the Federal Government is attempting to move as quickly as it can to end fuel scarcity in the nation.

Osinbajo had on Sunday visited two filling stations in Lagos – Oando Filling Station in Lekki, and Hayden Petrol Station – in Victoria Island, where he spoke to people waiting on the queue.

His Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Laolu Akande, released a statement Monday morning quoting the vice president on what he said:

It’s such a shame that Christmas has been, to some extent, with this sort of discomfort.


This is deeply regretted, and l know that, despite the resilience and strength of people in Lagos and the Nigerian people, we would see ourselves through this and will enjoy our Christmas and have a great new year.




We are trying to move as quickly as we can. Obviously, people have gone through a lot of pain and anguish in the past few days, and that is deeply regretted.


We are trying to do what we can to move as quickly as possible and there is certainly enough products to be able to solve the problem.


We will be able to solve the problem; the short period of scarcity is quite a bit of burden, but we know that so long as products are enough and the trucks coming out and feeding the stations, this will be over very soon.


I am going around with the Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum Resources here in Lagos to ensure that first, the trucks are being loaded from all the depots, and also looking at the filling stations to see that things are moving on very well.


The GMD of the NNPC is also working in Abuja to see that things are moving quickly and we are moving around the country. So we expect that it will be resolved very quickly.

Housewife, Dausiya Abdulmumini, has confessed that she killed her husband, 27-year-old Saminu Usman with N40 rat poison.

Dausiya had last week, poisoned her husband, Usman and her half brother to death in Ungwar Dan Mayaki village, Bakori local government area of Katsina State.

She said she used the substance because she does not love him.

Dausiya Abdulmumini alongside other suspects arrested for various forms of crimes and criminal offence were paraded by the State Commissioner of Police, CP Besen Gwana at the police headquarters over the weekend.



Dausiya confessed to have murdered her husband, Usman, after adding poisoned substance in the dish she served him.

Her half brother, Muhammad Dasa also died after eating the left over poisoned meal.

However, her 23-year-old sister-in-law, Shafa’atu Usman, who ate three spoons of the dish, luckily survived the incident.

Dausiya said she committed the act because she was forced to marry Saminu whereas she was in love with someone else.

The senator representing Kogi west constituency, Sen. Dino Melaye, shared this adorable photo of himself looking star-struck as He posed for a picture when he met with Indigenous rapper, Olamide Over the weekend.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Leader, Bola Tinubu, on Sunday called on Nigerians to support President Muhammadu Buhari to resolve the country’s current economic challenges.

Tinubu made the call in a Christmas message signed by his Media Officer, Tunde Rahman in Lagos.

He urged Nigerians to learn from the example of Jesus Christ “who faced and overcame the greatest evil” by uniting to overcome the country’s various challenges. He said:


The challenges facing the country are difficult ones. Let us unite to overcome our challenges and keep the hope alive.


We must support President Buhari and complement his efforts in his resolve to stimulate the economy and reposition the country.


The president needs our support, understanding and prayers. We must fully break the terrorism of Boko Haram and completely put down the last vestiges of the terrorists.


We must continue to pray for the men in uniform who risk their lives to keep us safe and to end this scourge on the nation. I commend our troops battling the terrorists. I thank them again for their courage and bravery.




Let us remember those who have been dispossessed of their homes and traumatised by the evil of these terrorists and pray that they all will be able to return home soon and begin their lives a new and better.


Yet, we must do more than pray. We all have something to give, something to contribute to the greater good. As Jesus gave of himself that we may live better, we must give of ourselves that others around us may have a better life.

Tinubu also urged Nigerians to reflect and recognise how Jesus lived and what he lived for while celebrating Christmas. He said:

Christmas Day, is one of the most precious days of the year for it celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ.


Be you Christian, Muslim or just a human being with a soul that yearns for peace, compassion and hope, Jesus Christ belongs to all of us. His teachings are universal in application and speak of truth eternal.


He reached out to all. Jesus fed the poor and healed the sick. He spread compassion and charity and preached love and justice. There are no finer aims than these and we can do no better than to do all we can to follow his example.


We must commit ourselves to peace and unity. Let us eschew all bitterness and bigotry.

    But Nigerians are amazing people. The car WAS ON FIRE when we got there yet already people were relentlessly trying to prise the wreckage aside with tools to reach was already supposed to be a dead man, despite what seemed like impending explosion. Neither factor deterred them.

Following the reaction by Daddy Freeze to Majek Fashek’s performance at the COZA christmas carol, the singer’s manager has come out via an Instagram post, to reject Daddy Freeze’s notion that secular artistes should not be allowed to perform in religious centres.

The singer’s manager stated that Majek Fashek’s music has spiritual contents, thereby justifying Majek Fashek’s performance at the COZA carol. He went on to threaten to beat up the leader of the #FreeTheSheeple movement, saying Daddy Freeze would be beaten up if he continues to mention Majek’s name on social media.

Sequel to the Kidnapping of Mr Ubani Onyema 64yrs, A production manager in Niger Delta Petroleum Resources based in Port Harcourt by unknown Gun Men in Woji PH on 16/10/17. A ransom call was made to the Hostage’s company demanding 100 million naira, but was eventually Negotiated down to N10 million which was paid to the Kidnappers despite not getting a proof of life.

IRT operatives deployed to Port Harcourt by IGP Ibrahim Idris swung into immediate action As the hostage was not released after the ransom was paid as Negotiated and agreed. Unrelenting Follow up by the IRT Team eventually led to the arrest of seven (7) Of the Kidnappers.



Suspects confessed to various roles each played in the kidnap, and admitted that the hostage, Ubani Onyema, died on the very day of his kidnap as a result of gun shot wounds he sustained during the kidnapping and they still went ahead to collect a ransom of 10 million.

Suspects names and roles played as Confessed are as follows: 1) Nduka Alaribe AKA Abiola ‘m’ 34 Gang Leader, organised the kidnap, recruited the hostage keepers, brought the two cars used for the kidnap, led gang members to pick up the ransom. 2) Godstime Eme ‘m’ 35 the second in command, a university graduate, he purchased the pre-registered sim which he used in negotiating for ransom and picked up the ransom.

Also monitored the movement of late Ubani Onyema on the day of his kidnap. 3) Nkere Uwam ‘m’ 38, the mastermind behind the kidnap, who also worked in the same company with the victim. 4) Wisdom Uchechi Chidi ‘m’ 35, a notorious leader of Greenlanders cult terrorising Ahoda-East LGA provided the arms used in the kidnap. 5) Ayakazi Woyin-Kuro ‘m’ 32, assisted in the recruitment of gang members. 6) Okpako Emperor ‘m’ 37 also worked in the company was part of the plot to kidnap Ubani. 7) Adimibe Kanayo ‘m’ 30 also worked in the company was part of the plot to kidnap Ubani.

Items recovered includes 1 AK47 Rifle and the two(2) vehicles used in the kidnap. Effort is ongoing to arrest other fleeing gang members, recover remaining arms and the body of the Victim which they confessed to have dropped into the river.
